About Amplifi

What is Amplifi?

Amplifi is leverage on anything, starting with prediction markets. Our first product, margin on Polymarket is live. You can now trade with up to 10x leverage on Polymarket

The short version

Amplifi is leverage for anything, starting with prediction markets and perpDEXs. Our first product, margin on Polymarket is live. You can deposit USDC as margin, get credit from Amplifi's lending pools, and trade up to 10x leveraged positions directly on Polymarket's orderbook. Behind the scenes, a policy-enforcing margin account — built on Amplifi's TEE key-custody architecture — enforces the rules of the loan and handles liquidation automatically.

Longer term, Amplifi is the first DeFi-native permissionless prime brokerage protocol. Prime brokerage services (cross-margin, leverage, credit lines) have historically been available only to large institutions through traditional prime brokers. Amplifi makes the same toolkit permissionless and available to anyone who can connect their wallet. Today that means 10x leverage on Polymarket. Soon it will mean cross-margin across trading venues and credit lines secured by any position you hold across DeFi.

The problem

Prediction markets had a breakout year. Polymarket alone crossed $10B in monthly volume, Kalshi opened to retail, and dozens of new platforms launched across crypto and TradFi. But the infrastructure hasn't kept up with the demand. Every dollar deployed on a prediction market today sits at 1x — fully collateralized, single-venue, earning nothing while it waits. There is no native margin, no cross-venue netting, and no way to put idle capital to work.

In every other financial market, capital efficiency is what determines winners. Futures traders post margin, not full notional. Market makers offset risk across correlated positions. Lenders earn yield on capital that would otherwise sit idle. The infrastructure for capital efficiency, which exists in all mature markets, does not yet exist in prediction markets.

Amplifi exists to close that gap. Instead of locking up $500 to take a $500 position, you deposit $50 and borrow the rest. Your capital works harder, your conviction translates into real exposure, and the capital you aren't using can earn yield in a lending pool instead of sitting in a wallet doing nothing.

How Amplifi works

  1. Deposit collateral

Deposit USDC as margin into your Amplifi margin account, your own TEE wallet on Polygon.

  2. Place an order

Choose your margin and leverage amount. Market and limit orders are supported.

  3. Borrow from the lending pool

Your Amplifi margin account borrows from Amplifi lending pools to open the desired notional position. At 5x leverage on a $50 notional position, you deposit $10 and Amplifi margin account borrows $40.

  4. Order executes on Polymarket

Your full position is opened on Polymarket's CLOB through your margin wallet. You receive real Polymarket shares in your margin account.

  5. Risk engine monitors continuously

Amplifi's risk engine monitors orderbook prices and depth in real-time. Liquidation prices adjust dynamically based on real-time liquidity.

  6. Close position or liquidation

Close your position at any time or hold your shares until market resolution. Your winnings are automatically claimed by your margin account. If the price moves against you and hits your liquidation threshold, Amplifi sells your shares automatically, repays the loan, and returns remaining equity to you.

Key design decisions

  • Isolated lending pools. Isolated lending pools enable risk-adjusted pricing to get margin in different Polymarket events. Isolated lending pool design also prevents bad debt event in a given Polymarket event from impacting other lenders. This design is inspired by Morpho.
  • Real Polymarket positions. Trades execute against Polymarket's order book and are held as actual conditional tokens in your margin wallet on supported markets — settlement, redemption and resolution work natively, and that volume counts toward Polymarket rewards, distributions and rebates.
  • TEE-enforced custody. Each user gets their own TEE wallet on Polygon. The wallet enforces spending and liquidation policies: borrowed funds can only be used for approved trading operations and positions will be sold to ensure lenders can be made whole.
  • Dynamic liquidation pricing. Liquidation thresholds adjust based on orderbook depth, not static ratios. Thin liquidity = tighter trigger. Deep liquidity = more room.

Who is Amplifi for?

  • Traders — Access up to 10x leverage on Polymarket. You will soon be able to borrow against your positions.
  • Lenders — Supply capital to lending pools to enable margin trading and earn interest. Amplifi's risk engine enforces liquidations automatically to protect pool capital from bad debt.
